What is the increased new rates?
The Northern Railway, in an order dated 26 September, decided to change the rates for porters at several stations in its zone. This is followed by Rahul Gandhi’s comment. According to the revised rates, people have to pay Rs 140 instead of Rs 100 for goods up to 40 kg per 20 minutes at A list stations, Whereas at B list stations people have to pay Rs 100 for goods up to 40 kg of 20 minutes.
