The Ministry of Railways has changed the names of three railway stations in Uttar Pradesh, taking a big decision. Official information related to the renaming of three stations has also been issued by the Railways. The stations that have been renamed are Pratapgarh, Antu and Bishnathganj railway stations. Due to the proximity of mythological and historical sites, the demand for change in the name of these stations was increasing for the last time. According to the notice issued by the Ministry of Railways, new names for the three stations have also been issued. Pratapgarh Junction will be known as Mother Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Junction, Antu Station to Mother Chandrika Devi Dham Antu and Bishnathganj Station to Shaniadeva Dham Bishnathganj Station.

A proposal sent two years ago

Pratap MP Sangam Lal Gupta sent a proposal to the Ministry of Railways to change the name Pratapgarh Junction, Antu and Bishnathganj railway station about 2 years ago. Now the proceedings to rename these three stations have been completed. Earlier in this public office, the Dandupur station of Raniganj was named Ma Barahi Dham.

Change many names before

This is not the first time the Ministry of Railways has changed the names of the stations. Earlier Pandit Dinadayal Upadadhyay Junction to Mughalsarai Station, Jhansi Station Name Veerangana Laxmibai Station, Manduadih railway station of Varanasi has been renamed Banaras Station and Allahabad junction has been renamed Prayagaraj junction. At the same time, Hoshangabad railway station in Madhya Pradesh has been named Narmadapuram and Habibganj railway station Rani Kamalapati station.
