CM Gahlot has been accusing Gajendra Shekhawat of joining the Sanjeevani Credit Cooperative Society “Scam” which is being investigated by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police.
Jaipur: Union Minister Gajendra Singh Sheikhawat said on Thursday that Rajasthan Police has given notice and asked him to provide details of bank accounts and financial transactions. Sheikhawat accused Chief Minister Ashok Gahalot of acting against him with political vengeance. MP Sheikhavat from Jodhpur said, ‘ ‘ A notice has been sent to my house in Jodhpur seeking details of my bank accounts, and financial transactions. This is the first time that a notice has been sent to me. Earlier, I was neither called for any investigation nor given any notice.
Sheikhavat targets CM Gahlot
CM Gahlot has been accusing the Union Minister of joining the Sanjeevani Credit Cooperative Society “Scam” which is being investigated by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police. The Central Water Power Minister has described the allegations against him as baseless and a political conspiracy to tarnish his image. He has also filed a defamation suit against Gahalot in Delhi. Sheikhawat said that the information sought through the notice given on Wednesday was already with SOG. He said, ‘ ‘ When I heard about the allegations against me in the media about two years ago, I made a representation to SOG, Which said that a trap of lies is being made against me under a political conspiracy। I gave my details and asked them to investigate it.
‘Gahalot conspired to spoil the image’
Shekhawat said, ‘ ‘ all the information they have asked for by giving notice is already with them. If I had a small mistake, Gahalot (during) would not have missed the opportunity. This is being done under political vengeance. If elections are close, they are trying to do all they can. ’ ’ Shekhawat alleged that Gahalot conspired to tarnish his image. He said, ‘ ‘ he has conspired to criminalize and discredit me in the media. ’ ’ SOG officials could not be contacted for information in this case.
