New York: Former US President Donald Trump appeared in a New York court on Monday, where he would face trial for alleged fraud committed through the Trump organization. Trump has been accused of fraud in a case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, as reported by news agency Xinhua.

The Attorney General says that Trump, his sons and his family business increased his assets by more than two billion dollars So that they can benefit from banks on favourable terms. Judge Angorone ruled last week that Trump and co-defendants are liable for fraud in the civil case.

Trump exited court on Monday, saying, “This is a conspiracy against him in view of the election. This is completely illegal.”Trump’s last appearance at the New York courthouse was in April for his charge on criminal charges related to secret money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Intervention in Georgia election: Trump’s guarantor also guilty

A guarantor, along with former US President Donald Trump and 17 others, was also convicted on Friday of allegations of poor conduct in a Georgia election. This is the first case of prosecution of a guarantor. Scott Graham Hall would have to live on a five-year probation period as part of the trial, as well as the court allowed him to present evidence during the proceedings. The court also ordered him to write a letter apologizing to the people of Georgia and prohibited his participation in electoral activities. Hall (59) was convicted of five counts of conspiracy to deliberately intervene during the discharge of electoral duties. Prosecutors had made six allegations of conspiracy to violate election rules in Coffee County and initially fraudulent as well as conspiracy.
