India vs Australia 1st ODI: The Indian team beat Australia by 5 wickets in the first ODI match and took a 1-0 lead in the series. Team India has become the No.1 team in the ICC ODI rankings after a stunning win over Australia. Indian bowlers and batsmen performed well in the match. Four batsmen hit half-century for India and Mohammad Shami scored 5 wickets.

Mohammad shami did awesome Indian captain KL Rahul decided to bowl first by winning the toss, which proved to be correct. Mohammad Shami bowled brilliantly for India. He scored 5 wickets against Australia by 51 runs in 10 overs. Shami bowled awesome from the first over. This is the second time he has achieved 5 wickets in his ODI career. He was awarded the ‘Player of the Match‘ award for his great performance. He also featured Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Shot and Sean Abbott’s wicket jerks.

Indian team won the match

Ritraj Gaikwad ( 71 run ) and Shubhaman Gill ( 74 run ) for India formed a fantastic opening partnership. Both of these players hit a half-century.
