Directed by Atlee Kumar, the film was released in theatre on 7 September and created a panic at the box office. Its advance ticket sales figures were enough to tell about its opening day collection. ‘The ‘Jawan’ earned Rs 65.50 crore on the first day, which was about 19 percent more than the ‘plateau. However, the figures declined due to not being discharged on Friday the following day, but on Saturday the film caught a pace again and earned Rs 68.72 crore.
After three days, the total net collection is currently Rs 180.45 crore, which is about Rs 20 crore more than Pathan. If this pace continues, it will easily join the prestigious club of Rs 1,000 crore in a few days, Because no major releases are going to come in the next few days.
