This Indian, associated with Afghanistan’s team before the ODI World Cup, will be a big advantage


Before the ODI World Cup 2023, the Afghanistan team made a former India captain their team mentor, making a major decision. He has announced this on his social media.

ICC ODI World Cup 2023: All teams are preparing fiercely before the ODI World Cup played in India this year. The first World Cup match will be played on 05 October. Warmup matches are being played in India before this match. All teams have to play two warm-up matches. Meanwhile, the Afghanistan team has added a former Indian player. The Afghanistan Cricket Board ( ACB ) has appointed former India captain Ajay Jadeja as the team mentor for the ICC ODI World Cup to be held in India.

Ajay Jadeja has played 15 Test matches for India from 1992 to 2000, in which he scored 576 runs at an average of 26.18, he has 4 half-century and best 96 runs. Jadeja has also represented India in 196 ODI matches, scoring 5359 runs in this format with an average of 37.47 with 6 centuries and 30 fifties. He has also been part of 111 first-class matches, where Jadeja has scored 8100 runs, while he has scored over 8300 runs in 291 List A games.

Afghanistan could win just one against Scotland in their first 2015 World Cup and lost all nine matches in the 2019 tournament. Afghanistan will begin its 2023 Mens ODI World Cup campaign against Bangladesh at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on 7 October.  His team would be hoping for a great start. Afghanistan has to play in Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ahmedabad in addition to Dharamshala.
