The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has abolished the fees for updating the base. This decision of UIDAI will benefit millions of people. However, this feature will be found only on online updates. If the base holders update their base at the physical counter, they will have to pay a fixed fee of Rs 50 for this.

These facilities are available for three months

UIDAI has taken this decision to promote the Digital India campaign. It has also appealed to the people that by visiting the MyAadhar portal (MyAadhaar portal), they can avail the facility of document updates for free. This facility will be available for free for only three months. This facility is available from 15 March 2023 to 14 June 2023.

If the base was built 10 years ago…

People whose base was formed 10 years ago and never updated UIDAI To update its demographic details, Proof of Identity and Proof of Address are asking to re-revalidate. This will accelerate the success of authentification, improving our living. Along with this, there will be an improvement in delivery service. In such a situation, if one has to change their demographic details like name, date of birth, address and other things, So those people can use the regular online update service or make changes by going to the nearest base centres. Normal charges will be levied for this.

Do this online Aadhaar card update

Aadhaar holders through their Aadhaar number https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in I can go and log in. An OTP will arrive at the registered mobile number. Document updates have to be clicked and existing details will be displayed. The base holder must verify the details. If all is correct, click on the hyperlink. In the next screen, proof of identity and address proof will have to be selected from the dropdown list and upload the documents. Proof of Identity and Address Proof will appear on UIDAI’s official website after being updated and approved. According to Aadhaar’s Enrollment and Update Regulations 2016, Aadhaar holders can update Aadhaar once after 10 years by submitting proof of identity and address proof.
