CM Yogi visited Lord Shiva in Kedarnath, worshiped in Badarinath yesterday

CM Yogi was to go to Kedarnath on Saturday, but his helicopter did not land due to bad weather. After this he went to Badrinath Dham and worshiped there.

Yogi Adityanath: Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, visited Uttarakhand, visited Kedarnath on Sunday. Yogi reached the Kedarnath temple and anointed Lord Shiva and performed worship. Earlier, on reaching Kedarnath Halipad, Mr. Badarinath Kedarnath Temple Committee Chairman Ajay Ajendra, District Officer of Rudrapraag, Dr.Saurabh Gharwar and Superintendent of Police Dr.Visakha Ashok Bhadane welcomed Yogi by offering a wreath. Tirtha Purohit Samaj welcomed him with traditional chantras and greetings.

Along with CM Yogi, Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Durga Shankar Mishra and Chief Secretary Home and Chief Minister’s Secretary Sanjay Prasad also reached Kedarnath. Yogi was to reach Kedarnath on Saturday after attending the Central Area Council meeting chaired by Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister at Narendranagar near Rishikesh, But his helicopter did not land due to bad weather and due to this he had gone straight to Badrinath. He was welcomed by the pilgrimage priests to the Badarinath temple, after which he joined the Shayan Aarti of Lord Badri Vishal and performed the darshan and special worship of God. During this time he also greeted the devotees and local public present in the temple complex. Yogi visited and took up the Saraswati River. He later met and encouraged the soldiers of the Indo-Tibet Border Police ( ITBP ) stationed at Ghastoli on the Indo-China border.

Excited soldiers found among the Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh shouted slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram. During the excursion, Yogi said, “Uttrakhand is not new to me. This is my birthplace. I have spent my childhood in Uttarakhand and whenever I get an opportunity to come to Uttarakhand, I feel bliss from conscience.” He called the vision of Lord Badri Vishal his good fortune, saying that this holy place has been consecrated by many saints and yogis with their cultivation and tenacity. Yogi said that the Government of Uttar Pradesh will work closely with the Government of Uttarakhand on all the possibilities of development and tourism. During this time he inspected the Uttar Pradesh Tourist Accommodation Home under construction in Badrinath Dham and reviewed the progress of construction work. Yogi said that the remaining construction works of the housing house should be completed soon,So that the devotees who reach Badrinath can get the benefit of it soon.
