Great relief news has come out for the students. The students preparing for the board examination have been relieved by the Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Dharmendra Pradhan has said that twice a year, students are no longer required to sit the board exam.
It is no longer mandatory for students to sit twice in the board examination held every year across the country. Students can choose it alternatively based on their convenience and choice. The student has to sit in the exam once or twice it has to be decided by the student. The Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, while speaking to this Babat news agency PTI, said that it will not be mandatory for students to take the board examination of class 10th or 12th twice a year. This will be completely optional and the main objective is to reduce the stress caused by the fear of single opportunity.
Board exams will not have to be given to students twice a year
Talking to PTI, the Union Minister said that the board examination will be conducted twice a year. But it has to be attended once or twice it will be optional for students. He said, this arrangement has been implemented for the good of children. If a student sits in the exam twice, then only his best result will be taken. In such a situation, students will get an opportunity to sit in the board examination twice a year. However, students who are self-sufficient about their performance can take the exam even once। It is optional whether they have to sit the exam once or twice.
What said Education minister
The Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that this decision was taken so as to reduce the stress and fear of studies and examination in children. He said that in August of this year, the Ministry of Education had announced to conduct board examination twice a year under the New Curriculum Framework. These frameworks have been brought in to make changes in the examination system and to keep students’ exam syllabus based. He said that after the implementation of the New Curriculum Framework 2023, he has spoken to many students, on which students have expressed happiness about it.
