In September, the registration of vehicles reached 18,82,071 units. In September 2022, it had 15,63,735 units। Let me tell you that while the sales of two-wheelers have increased by 22 per cent in the month of September, retail sales of three-wheelers have increased by 49 per cent. Sales of cars have increased by 19 per cent, while commercial vehicle sales have increased by five per cent.

19 per cent increase in registration of vehicles

According to the data, registration of vehicles increased by more than 19 per cent to 3,32,248 units on an annual basis last month with an improvement in availability, compared to 2,79,137 units in September 2022. Singhania said the demand for vehicles has also increased in the last month due to the offer of new products. Retail sales of two-wheelers increased 22 per cent to 13,12,101 units in the month under review, from 10,78,286 units in September 2022. At the same time, registration of commercial vehicles increased by five per cent to 80,804 units. Sales of three-wheelers increased 49 per cent to 1,02,426 units, compared to 68,937 units in September 2022. The sale of the tractor was reduced to 54,492 units, from 60,321 units in September 2022.
