According to the report of Indian Express, special arrangements have been made in Ahmedabad to show the first match of the World Cup for free to about 30,000 to 40,000 women. The report further states that the BJP’s urban ward-level network is mobilized to bring women to the stadium and local leaders are distributing tickets. Also, the women who will come to watch the match for free. Coupons are being arranged for tea and lunch for them.
Lalit Vadavan, BJP vice president of Bodkadeva region, said about 30,000 to 40,000 women from Ahmedabad will watch the match at the stadium tomorrow.
