Ojas Deotale and Jyothi Surekha Vennam scored 159 at the compound mixed event of archery. While the Korean pair scored 158. The Korean pair could not survive in front of the Indian pair and lost the match. Earlier Indian archers Jyoti and Ojas scored 10 points each time against the pair of Kazakhstan’s Adel Zheshenbinova and Andre Tyutyun in the semi-finals. The Indian pair defeated Malaysia duo Mohammad Juwadi bin Majuki and Fatin Nurftehah Met Saleh in the quarterfinals. Now he continued his best performance in the finals as well and won the gold medal.
