In the ongoing International Olympic Committee meeting in Mumbai, it was decided to officially include cricket in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA in 2028. Apart from cricket, 4 other sports have also been included in this Olympic Games. Please tell that cricket is returning to the Olympic Games after 128 years.

The 4 sports that have been included in the Olympic Games to be held in the US in the year 2028 include baseball-softball, squash, flag football and lacrosse. Consent had already been made about these games, which was officially announced on 16 October. Cricket will be played in T20 format, in which every Olympic host city has to seek permission from a few years in advance to include any sport. Thomas Bach called for the inclusion of these games at the IOC meeting held in Mumbai.

ICC will help make cricket a global sports
After 128 years cricket’s return to the Olympics is considered a major victory of the International Cricket Council. This will help him a lot in making cricket a global sport.
